Rohr Bais Chaya Academy is proud to offer two 75% tuition scholarships for incoming 9th grade dormitory students, in memory of Rabbi Sholom Ber Lipskar—an early and devoted supporter of our school and a valued member of our building committee. Rabbi Lipskar’s personal involvement and steadfast belief in our mission reflected his deep commitment to ensuring that girls from smaller or more remote communities could access a high-quality, Chassidishe high school education—without compromising on values, standards, or warmth.
As a lifelong shliach and the founder of The Shul in Bal Harbour, Rabbi Lipskar understood the unique challenges shluchim face in securing strong educational opportunities for their children and communities. Throughout his life, he championed the cause of wholesome, Chassidishe chinuch and passionately advocated for providing every Jewish girl with the tools to grow into her potential—with strength, pride, and clarity of purpose.
This scholarship is more than financial assistance—it is a tribute to Rabbi Lipskar’s enduring legacy. It reflects his vision of empowering the next generation of shluchos and Jewish women leaders through meaningful, values-driven education. We warmly invite families who share these ideals to apply and join a school community where learning is infused with Chassidishe warmth, personal growth, and purpose.
May Rabbi Lipskar’s memory continue to inspire and uplift.
