Fort Hays Tech | North Central proudly announces that Marissa Reever, a dedicated student in the Automotive Technology program, has been awarded a prestigious scholarship from The Technicians of Tomorrow Foundation. She received this distinguished honor at VISION KC, the second-largest automotive event in the United States.
Reever’s scholarship package includes:
· A four-day Power Pass granting access to all training sessions at VISION KC
· A four-night hotel stay
· A $1,000 scholarship toward her education
Accompanied by her instructors Brett Pfannenstiel, Mark MacConnell, and Richard Cox, Reever represented Fort Hays Tech | North Central with excellence. She is one of only four students nationwide to receive this scholarship, highlighting her hard work, dedication, and passion for the automotive industry.
This achievement marks the fourth consecutive year that a Fort Hays Tech | North Central student has earned this distinguished honor, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to preparing students for success in the automotive field.
“We are incredibly proud of Marissa and the legacy of excellence she continues to build,” said Richard Cox, automotive technology instructor and department chair. “Her recognition at VISION KC underscores the high-quality education and hands-on training provided by our Automotive Technology program.”
