MARION, Ill. — Forty-five high-school students received scholarships from Black Diamond Harley-Davidson and community colleges in the area. 
2024 is the 15th year Harley-Davidson has partnered with local colleges to award students. In total, $45,000 of financial aid was given out this year. 
High school administration and faculty across the region nominated students for the award. Each scholarship covered $1,000 and was funded by Co-Owners of Black Diamond Rodney Cabaness and Shad Zimbro and the four community colleges in the region.

A luncheon is scheduled for Saturday at TJ’s Diamond Club at Mtn Dew Park for the scholarship presentations.
