The Twin County Community Foundation (TCCF) is expanding its scholarship program to support homeschooled students and adults continuing their education.
“These new scholarships reflect TCCF’s ongoing commitment to investing in education and helping local students and adult learners achieve their career goals,” the foundation said in a news release.
Four scholarships, each worth $1,000, are available. Two scholarships are offered for homeschool students, and two for adults continuing their education.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for students outside the traditional school system and adults looking to further their careers,” said Mariah Evans, executive director of TCCF. “We are proud to continue supporting education and workforce development in our community.”
Application deadline is May 9. Applicants must reside in Carroll County, Grayson County or Galax.
Eligible applicants can apply online through a Google Form application, available at: forms.gle/wCn2yQo1RussJ86c6/.
