The Idaho Community Foundation is delighted to invite students from North Idaho to apply for a variety of scholarship opportunities designed to support their pursuit of higher education. Thanks to the generosity and vision of Idaho donors, these scholarships provide essential financial support to help students achieve their academic dreams.
Scholarships specific to North Idaho include:
⦁ Jeanne Van Meeteren Scholarship Fund – This scholarship is for graduating seniors of any high school in the following counties: Clearwater, Idaho, Latah, Lewis, or Nez Perce. Studying in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
⦁ Dorothy B. Adler Scholarship Fund – For graduating seniors from Lake Pend Oreille Alternative High School who qualify for the free or reduced lunch program.
⦁ D&D Rhoades Scholarship Fund – Providing significant support for students who have graduated from one of six North Idaho high schools and are pursuing a degree in agriculture or a related field. Preference may be given to students with financial need.
⦁ Lucille F. Zanetti Scholarship Fund – Available for seniors graduating from Kellogg, Mullan, or Wallace High Schools who are active in their school and community.
Additionally, statewide scholarships include:
⦁    Alois and Marie Goldmann Memorial Scholarship Fund – Offering scholarships to graduating seniors from any Idaho high school attending an Idaho-based higher education institution.
⦁    Anne Veseth Memorial Scholarship Fund – This scholarship provides scholarships for students studying Fire Ecology or Auto Mechanics, or for current Wildland Firefighters studying any subject at a two- or four-year college in Idaho.
⦁    Mike Crapo Math and Science Scholarship Fund – Five scholarships are awarded to Idaho residents enrolling as full-time freshmen at an Idaho college or university, majoring in math or science.
“These scholarships are made possible by generous Idahoans who believe in the power of education,” said Heidi Rogers of Coeur d’Alene, an ICF Board Member. “They offer a unique opportunity for students to pursue their dreams while strengthening the future of Idaho communities.”
Applications for many scholarships close March 15. Students interested in applying are encouraged to visit www.IdahoCF.org for detailed eligibility criteria, application guidelines, and deadlines.
