ASHLAND — The Foundation for the Tri-State is accepting scholarship applications from local high school seniors planning on attending college. The deadline to apply is March 15.
The Foundation has scholarships available to students in more than 30 local high schools for graduating seniors applying to college. This includes high schools in Boyd, Greenup, Harlan, Martin, Lawrence (Ohio), Lawrence (Kentucky), Carter, Pike, Elliott, Cabell, Wayne and Mingo counties.
Last year, 43 scholarships and awards totaling $65,250 were presented.
This year, the Foundation has launched a scholarship application portal to make it easier for students to apply online.
