Four Scholarships were awarded to Robertson County graduating seniors on June 16, from the Robert Dale Broadrick Memorial Scholarship.
The scholarship was established by his family to honor his memory after his accidental death in July 2024. Broadrick was an active member of the JR ROTC and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was dedicated to his family, community and the military.
The $5,000 scholarships were awarded to each Lily Dunbar, Chase Gammon, Dalton Lee Gregory and Jennifer Huipe. Each recipient exhibited the dedication to continuing their education and commitment to community.
Dunbar will attend Cumberland University to study nursing.
Gammon is attending TCAT for electrical.
Gregory will attend Volunteer State Community College to study engineering and surveying.
Huipe will begin Tennessee Tech University to study computer science.
These scholarships will be awarded annually and are available to graduating seniors at East Robertson High School or a member of the Junior ROTC of Robertson County, Tennessee.
