Four students from Stark and Billings County receive scholarships – The Dickinson Press

DICKINSON – Amid a record number of scholarship recipients this year, three students from Dickinson and one from Sentinel Butte received funding for their future education. North Dakota Dollars for Scholars awarded scholarships for the upcoming school year to the following area students:
“This year, a record number of students received scholarships from North Dakota Dollars for Scholars and local chapters,” stated Bank of North Dakota President and CEO Don Morgan. “This was achieved through collaboration and dedicated volunteers.”

North Dakota Dollars for Scholars awarded a total of $262,700 in scholarships to 161 students across North Dakota. In addition to the statewide scholarships, Dollars for Scholars chapters throughout 64 North Dakota communities awarded more than $1.6 million in scholarships to 1,529 students. Students who graduated from a North Dakota high school or were home educated in North Dakota qualify to apply for the scholarships distributed by the statewide North Dakota Dollars for Scholars Chapter.
Bank of North Dakota administers the state chapter which assists local chapters and oversees the scholarships given by the state chapter which focuses on offering scholarships to students beyond their freshman year of college.
