Recipients of the Franklin Baptist Church 2025 scholarships, pictured front to back, are Abby Pearce, who will begin a Physician Assistant master’s program at Mary Baldwin University’s Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences; Kayla Felts, a senior at Virginia Tech; Ashlynn Pearce, pursuing a Doctor of Occupational Therapy at Mary Baldwin’s Murphy Deming College; and Ryan Fisher, a freshman at Richard Bland College. Since its inception in 2005, the church’s scholarship fund has awarded over $300,000 to support members’ higher education.
