Franklin Area High School students Gaby Laderer and Madi Stewart were awarded two $2,000 scholarships by the Franklin Blues and Barbecue Festival Committee at the Blues and Barbecue Festival on June 14.
The scholarships are for students who will be pursuing careers in music, and they were awarded in memory of Blues and Barbecue founding member Carl Wible.
