SRINAGAR: The University of Saskatchewan in Canada is inviting applications for fully funded scholarships for international students pursuing Master’s and PhD programmes in 2025. The programme duration is three years for a Master’s degree and four years for a Doctoral degree. The deadline to apply is February 28, 2025.
The scholarship covers various disciplines, including Anthropology, Art and Art History, Curriculum Studies, Education (Cross-Departmental PhD Programme), Indigenous Studies, Languages, Literature, & Cultural Studies, Large Animal Clinical Sciences, Linguistics & Religious Studies, Marketing, Music, Philosophy, Small Animal Clinical Sciences, Veterinary Pathology, and Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies.
The scholarship provides financial support of $30,000 per annum for PhD students and $25,000 per annum for Master’s students, along with a $5,000 travel allowance, which can be used over the duration of the award.
To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate English proficiency and must be full-time, fully qualified students either continuing their programme or in the process of being admitted into a graduate degree programme. Students must be within the first 36 months of a Master’s programme or the first 48 months of a Doctoral programme at the time of application. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum 80% average, either as a continuing student or as an entrance average for prospective students.
