The 26th annual Carrie Clayburn Dinner will be held Jan. 11 during the Indian Creek v. Brown County basketball game.
The evening out benefits a scholarship fund in Carrie Clayburn’s name. Dinner will start at 5 p.m. and will be served until halftime of the basketball game. Money will be raised for the scholarship via free will offering.
The game is at home at Indian Creek High School, 803 W. Indian Creek Drive, Trafalgar.
Clayburn was active in 4-H and was a member of a soil judging team at Indian Creek High School. She died on Sept. 7, 1998 of acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis. She was studying horticulture at IUPUI at the time of her death.
