The Greek American Homeowners Association (GAHOA) released the following statement:
“We are pleased to inform you that according to a decision made by our Board of Directors, we will award 15 scholarships (total) to students (boys & girls) of 7 Greek American Afternoon Schools as follows:
“Scholarships will be awarded on Wednesday June 11, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the house of our Association.
The names of the afternoon schools and the name of the students who are going to be awarded are as follows:
“The amount of each scholarship will be $600 – $300 from the Association and $300 from a donation of Mr. George Fakiris.
“Finally please be advised that the next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 7:00 pm at their headquarters located at 23-49 31st Street, Astoria, NY 11105.
“We wish you a happy and healthy summer,” George Kitsios, President and George Alexiou, Honorary President.
