GiFTS is offering $2,500 minimum scholarships for prospective and displaced teachers who meet the following criteria:
• Graduate, or expected to graduate in 2025, from an accredited high school in Yavapai County or have resided in Yavapai County for one year and must be planning to teach grades K-12 , preferably in Yavapai County.
• Displaced teachers whose position in a district/charter has been eliminated and need additional coursework to obtain an additional endorsement to continue employment with their current employer. Moving from classroom to administration does not qualify
• 3.0 high school or college/university GPA or improvement on most recent transcript • Pursuing a certificate in education
