The 18th Annual Heather Miller Golf Classic returned to Oglebay Park on Friday, continuing its tradition of honoring Heather Miller, who tragically lost her life in a car accident in 2008.

WHEELING, W.Va. ā The 18th Annual Heather Miller Golf Classic returned to Oglebay Park on Friday, continuing its tradition of honoring Heather Miller, who tragically lost her life in a car accident in 2008.
The event, held in remembrance of Heather's passion for nursing, aims to raise funds for college nursing scholarships.
A total of 168 golfers participated in the event.
Organizer Jody Miller emphasized that the day is about much more than just golf.
"We really try to promote the educational part of it as well. We have some of her nursing scholarship recipients have showed up. That's what we support, that's why we do this event. We also promote organ donation, because Heather was a donor," she said.
The event drew participants from 15 states, showcasing the widespread support for the cause.
