{KXLG – Deuel County, SD} For the fifth consecutive year, clean energy developer and operator Invenergy has partnered with local landowners to provide substantial financial assistance to graduating seniors and recent graduates of Deuel High School.
The Invenergy Deuel School Scholarship Program awarded $50,000 this year, marking a program milestone of over $200,000 in total scholarships granted to Deuel students since its inception in 2021, with $150,000 contributed directly by Invenergy.
The scholarship fund is a collaborative effort between Invenergy and Deuel Harvest Wind landowners Jim and Linda Dailey and Greg and Darla Toben. This ongoing partnership underlines a commitment to supporting the educational aspirations of local youth.
The scholarship recipients have pursued diverse educational paths, including medical fields, technical programs, and careers in high-demand areas such as renewable energy. The program aims to empower students within the Deuel County School District to achieve their educational and career goals.
