The City of Solin continues to invest in the education of young people this year, by announcing a competition for scholarships for pupils and students for the school or academic year 2025/2026.
Applications are accepted exclusively via the website. scholarships.solin.hr, and the application deadline is 15 days from the date of publication of the competition.
According to the competition, the City of Solin awards scholarships in several categories:
– High school students – for excellence, by social status and for shortage occupations
– Students – also for excellence, by social status and for shortage professions
The scholarship amount is 80 euros per month for pupils and 120 euros per month for students, and is paid for a period of 10 months.
Full-time secondary school students residing in Solin who completed the previous school year with a grade point average of at least 4,50 (for the excellence category) can apply for student scholarships. For student scholarships, the grade point average must be at least 4,00.
In the category of social scholarships, students with lower incomes are eligible, while in the category of scarce professions, preference is given to candidates who are studying in professions in demand on the labor market (such as nurses, civil engineers, IT specialists, etc.).
Applications are submitted exclusively electronically on the platform scholarships.solin.hr. Applicants must attach scanned documentation proving eligibility — such as certificates, enrollment certificates, household member statements, and income certificates.
Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered, therefore the City of Solin invites all interested parties to submit applications on time and check whether they have attached all the necessary documentation.
The competition is open from October 27th od 9 hours do November 10th do 20 hours.
With this program, the City of Solin continues its tradition of encouraging young and talented citizens, as well as providing support to families with lower incomes. Scholarships are an important form of assistance to pupils and students in continuing their education and a motivation for excellence, effort and social responsibility.
