The Greeley Stampede Foundation this year awarded 22 Weld County high school students a total of $102,000 for their work in the classroom and their communities.
The scholarship winners, listed below, each received $2,500:
The scholarships are funded by Stampede events such as the Big Buckle Ball, the Western Art Show, the Ray Esola Memorial Sporting Clay Tournament and the Stampede Golf Tournament. The Greeley Stampede Old Buckers organization also provides funding.
The foundation has awarded scholarships to local high school students since 2001.
