On June 24, the Greater Hazleton Concert Series awarded three scholarships in memory of Bernardine L. Lingousky at the final concert of its 2024-25 season.
This year, the scholarships have been designated to be used for a professional Summer Music Camp, with each recipient receiving up to $1,000, toward a program of their choosing.
Applications were sought from the Greater Hazleton Area, which includes Weatherly, Marian Catholic, MMI, Crestwood and Hazleton Area. The recipients are Christina Chrin, Barnesville; Eliza Garcia, Drums; and Erica Schwear, Sugarloaf.
