(Greensburg, IN) – The Greensburg Community High School (GCHS) Class of 2025 will soon walk across the stage after already earning a major accomplishment.
The senior class has earned $4M in scholarships, GCHS Principal Mike Myers announced during the Honors Day celebration on Thursday, May 22.
Seniors earned $3,737,139 from awards, grants and scholarships from postsecondary educational institutions.
They also secured $354,851 from local organizations, local scholarships, and trust funds established with the school corporation.
“It’s been my privilege to watch these seniors grow over the past 13 years and this accomplishment of $4 million is an indication of the hard work and dedication they have given over the past several years,” said Greensburg Schools Superintendent Tom Hunter.
“Also, these local scholarship opportunities are an example of the incredible organizations and people in our community who are providing assistance to the seniors as they embark on their next journey in college, the workforce, or in the military,” he added.
The Greensburg Community High School Graduation Ceremony will be held at the high school at 9am on Saturday, May 31.
