Sierra Nevada Journeys, a nonprofit that operates an outdoor education camp facility in Portola, announces that registration is now open for Grown-up Getaway Camp. “Get ready to trade responsibilities for pure joy,” say organizers. “This exclusive getaway invites you to rediscover the magic of summer camp with a perfect mix of thrilling activities, creative workshops and tranquil moments in nature.”
All proceeds from the event, set for Aug. 15 through 17, support Sierra Nevada Journeys’ student scholarship fund, helping to make nature education accessible to all.

The all-inclusive weekend costs $450 per person, which includes shared cabin accommodations, meals, cocktails, activities and entertainment. During registration, guests have the option to submit bunk requests to be placed in the same cabin as their friends.
