The Gulf Breeze Rotary Club has awarded six Gulf Breeze High School students with a $6,000 college scholarships. To date, the Gulf Breeze Rotary has spent $1.2 million funding scholarships. The gumbo cookoff, started by Greg Smith, is one of the organization’s primary fundraisers. This year the gumbo cook-off raised $26,000 and the rotary club used an additional $10,000 from its scholarship foundation.
