GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -Grand Valley Power announced they are accepting applications for its 2025 scholarship program.
The company says they will award 22 thousand dollars to local students, with scholarship awards ranging from $1,500 to $2,000.
Scholarship opportunities are open to folks living in a home that GVP serves, who are also pursuing post-secondary undergraduate education.
There is also a CMU Tech Electric Lineworker Scholarship that is open to Mesa County residents.
“Grand Valley Power is dedicated to empowering the future generations of our community,” said Rita Sanders, Grand Valley Power’s Director of Member Services and Communication. “Providing students with the financial support they need to continue their education is an important part of our guiding principles.”
Applications for scholarships will be accepted until March 1, with exception to the CMU Tech Electric Lineworker Scholarship, which are due June 1.
