Get ready for a night of spooky music in the woods when The Alchemy 5 creates songs in the moment as Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein plays on the big screen at Camp Cedar Mill.
The performance is inspired by the movie and the band will interpret Frankenstein’s life as the film plays.
The event will benefit Ipswich Family YMCA Camp scholarships. Camp Cedar Mill is at 390 Wethersfield Street in Rowley.
The Alchemy 5 is a local jazz quintet from Ipswich, and a key part of The Orchestra on the Hill, an Ipswich-based professional music ensemble. The Alchemy 5 is known for creating interpretive jazz compositions.
“Get in the spirit of Halloween and all things spooky at this unique performance and screening. It’s fun for the whole family and proceeds from the ticket sales will help us continue to provide camp scholarships for local kids,” said Chris Bevilacqua, executive director of the Ipswich Family Y.
