HarborOne Bank has awarded $100,000 in scholarships to 20 college-bound students from Massachusetts and Rhode Island, according to a community announcement.
Each recipient will receive $5,000, paid directly to the college or university they will attend in the fall of 2025. This marks the conclusion of a 10-year, $1 million commitment to providing scholarships to exceptional high school seniors who demonstrate a strong commitment to educational excellence and their local community.
“Over the last decade, it has been our honor and privilege to help address college affordability for families and invest in the promising futures of 220 of the region’s remarkable young people,” said Joseph F. Casey, president and CEO of HarborOne Bank. “We are incredibly impressed with what each of this year’s scholarship recipients has already achieved, and we look forward to following their success through college and beyond.”
