HARRISBURG — Even after earning a scholarship to cover expenses toward pursuing her PhD at the prestigious University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, Molly Williams said she feels more connected to her Southern Illinois roots than ever before.
Born and raised in Harrisburg, Williams graduated from Harrisburg High School in 2009. In the years since, she has called many different places home.
