The Hawaiʻi Alpha Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter awarded $1,000 scholarships to 11 graduating seniors from Maui County public high schools this year, recognizing their academic achievement, character and service to school and community.
Hawaiʻi Alpha Delta Kappa Gamma is part of Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honorary sorority for women educators founded in 1947. The organization promotes excellence in education, cultural understanding and community service. Funds for the scholarships are raised through annual service projects, including rummage sales, volunteering at Maui Interscholastic League (MIL) games and gift-wrapping at The Shops at Wailea.
A special luncheon honoring the 2025 scholarship recipients and their families was held at the Nisei Veterans Memorial Center.
