HEAL Palestine, in partnership with AXSOS Academy, launched 50 full tech scholarships for youth from Gaza, providing a pathway to skills, employment, and opportunity amid the ongoing crisis.
The program offers 20 weeks of hands-on training in Full-Stack Web Development, Data, and QA/Testing, supported by mentors and job-placement coaching to help students transition from training to real-world careers. The initiative is fully funded by HEAL Palestine and delivered by AXSOS Academy, whose expertise in digital education continues to empower young learners across the region.
Despite immense challenges — from infrastructure damage and unreliable internet access to the daily realities of displacement and instability — the cohort remains active and determined. Each student’s progress is a testament to Gaza’s resilience and the belief that education and technology can open doors even in the darkest times.
This partnership is not just about learning to code — it’s about preparing Gaza’s youth for the global job market, fostering independence, and investing in the region’s long-term recovery.

HEAL Palestine’s Zakat calculation method is based on the Zakat Calculator provided by the Zakat Foundation of America. We update the gold price for Nisab calculation daily using the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Gold Price. The Nisab threshold is determined by the value of 85g of 24K gold.
