Admittedly, Key West High baseball coach Ralph Henriquez does not have an exact tally of the number of players who have gone through his program and then moved on to play college and some even professional baseball.
“I forgot the number if it was 16 or 17 or 15 (currently still playing the college or the minor leagues), but I’m always listening to people telling me about what the program has done,” said Henriquez. “They tell me, ‘This is what we’re done and this is what is currently still going on, and then you add these four guys and we have this many.’ Heck, I didn’t even realize how many we have right now until that email the other day.
