The Italian American Cultural Organization of the South Shore has announced the winners of the 2025 IACO “Spirit of Italian Culture” Scholarship. According to a community announcement, six students have each received a $3,000 scholarship after a competitive selection process.

The scholarships were awarded during the annual IACO Awards Dinner on June 16 at the Tirrell Room in Quincy. The organization noted that the students exemplify the spirit of Italian culture through their academic success and community involvement. The scholarship committee recognized their high GPAs and active participation in various extracurricular activities.
Funding for the scholarships comes from the Italian American Cultural Organization’s annual Festa di San Martino Scholarship Fundraiser. This year’s event is scheduled for Nov. 1 from 6 to 11 p.m. at The Tirrell Room. Attendees can expect a night of homemade wine tasting, an Italian dinner, a silent auction, and live music by the Italian Band Ambrosiani. The deadline to purchase tickets is Oct. 18.
