(Gray News) – A graduating high school student in Mississippi has received more than $10 million in scholarship offers.
Jayme Anderson, of Forest High School in Jackson, was accepted to over 50 colleges across the country.
The principal at Forest Hill High School, also known locally as the University of South Jackson, said Jayme’s achievements emphasize the “all-hands-on-deck approach” from teachers and staff towards students.
“This milestone not only showcases Jayme’s hard work and perseverance, but also highlights the excellence we work to cultivate at USJ,” principal Hampton said.
Schools that offered Jayme a scholarship include Stanford University, Penn State and UCLA.
