METHUEN — On Friday, Dec. 6, the third annual Michael P. Ippolito Memorial fundraising event will be held at Methuen High School, with seven high school jamboree-style hockey teams playing four games.
Ready to play are boys teams Methuen, Tewksbury, Wilmington and Bedford, and girls squads Methuen/Tewksbury, Shawsheen Tech/Bedford and Wilmington/Stoneham.
The first game will feature the Tewksbury boys against Bedford at 6 p.m. That will be followed by the Wilmington/Stoneham girls playing Shawsheen/Bedford at 7 p.m. and then Tewksbury/Methuen at 8 p.m. The last game will feature the Wilmington boys against Methuen at 9 p.m.

The money raised will be used for six scholarships, in memory of Ippolito, going to two seniors from Tewksbury, Wilmington and Shawsheen Tech.
