HUDSON, Ohio – The Hudson Garden Club’s annual Home & Garden Tour is scheduled for June 13-14.
This year’s tour theme is Tablescapes: Where Art Meets the Table. The theme celebrates how tablescapes such as elegant dinner settings and fresh arrangements can visually upgrade special occasions.
The tour features a curated selection of the city’s most charming homes and gardens. Each tour stop includes tablescapes that integrate beauty and function, according to an event news release. Tour tablescapes include a rustic farmhouse table decorated with wildflowers and an elegant dining setting featuring heirloom china, among others.
Tour participants are invited to browse the shops and businesses in Hudson, including the Garden Shop at East Woods Intermediate School, which will offer eclectic items, nursery-grown perennials, and plants grown by local gardeners. The Tea Room at East Woods School will have complimentary iced tea and homemade cookies.
Proceeds from the Hudson Home & Garden Tour fund the Garden Club’s annual scholarships, grants, city tree planting, school programs, library books and community beautification projects. The tour is coordinated by more than 500 individuals who donate thousands of hours toward the project, according to the release.
Tour hours are Friday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tour tickets are $35 and can be purchased on the Garden Club website. A limited number of Preview Party tickets are available for $95 and can also be purchased on the website.
Participants can pick up a tour program booklet and shoe coverings at East Woods School, located at 120 N. Hayden Parkway in Hudson. The booklet includes a map and information about each property. Participants will drive themselves to each tour stop. Parking is along the street near each property.
