The 18th edition of the HYLI programme returns this time in Cebu, Philippines from 24–29 May 2026. This unique leadership platform brings together top-student delegates from eight Asian countries (Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam), enabling them to engage in meaningful dialogue with peers, government, academic and business leaders.

Under the theme “FLOW AS ONE: What’s next for a sustainable future?”, HYLI 2026 calls for neighbourhood-wide unity, innovation and solution-driven leadership. The theme is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

• 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation),
• 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth),
• 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure) and
• 14 (Life Below Water).

The programme experience includes expert-led panels, immersive field visits, interactive workshops, cultural exchanges — and concludes with collaborative presentations in front of a distinguished leadership panel. With only four delegates selected per country and full sponsorship for travel, accommodation and programme costs, HYLI 2026 offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent your nation, deepen your leadership capabilities and connect with a powerful regional network of changemakers.

• Applications open 15 September 2025 and close 28 November 2025.
• After submission, shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in mid-January, and final delegate announcements will be made by end-January.
• Those selected will be required to participate in virtual pre-engagement and mentoring sessions from February through May 2026 (exact dates to be confirmed).
