Idaho Community Foundation awards more than $740K in scholarships – Coeur d'Alene Press

The Idaho Community Foundation announced Monday it has awarded more than $740,000 in scholarships to 228 students across Idaho this year.
The recipients represent learners of all kinds, from first-generation college students to future nurses, welders and veterinarians.
The ICF manages more than 70 scholarship funds established by donors who want to support the next generation. Scholarships support a wide variety of educational paths, including vocational training, two- and four-year degrees and graduate programs. Scholarships like these are possible because of the vision of ICF fundholders.
“With your support, I will continue to work hard, stay involved in my community and grow in the hospitality industry,” Larry J. May Hospitality Management Scholar Katherine Cameron of Rathdrum said in the announcement. “This scholarship reminds me why I chose this path — to serve others and lead with care.”
