In continuing our commitment to providing a high-quality and intensive Master of Public Policy program and in recognition of an ever-increasing cost of living, the Max Bell School will be increasing our entrance scholarships to $15,000 each for eligible Canadian applicants (citizens and permanent residents) beginning in fall 2025. These scholarships are based on merit, and all applicants will be considered automatically unless otherwise specified. The funding will be awarded to accepted students during their year attending the MPP program.
“These scholarships will have a significant impact on our commitment to accessibility,” says Andrew Potter, Interim Director of the Max Bell School of Public Policy. “This increase in funding for Canadian students will enable us to provide more opportunities for the future policy leaders we welcome at Max Bell.”
As has been the case since the Max Bell School began, limited scholarships will also be available for international applicants. Other funding opportunities include the Scholarships for New Voices in Public Policy, granted to exceptional incoming MPPs who aspire in their professional careers to contribute to advancing equity, diversity and inclusion, and the Stanley Hartt Prize in Public Policy for an outstanding graduate student who has demonstrated academic excellence during their MPP.
