For the fifth consecutive year, Igud Talmidei Hak’vutza has continued the revolutionary “Yissachar and Zevulun” program geared for Israeli Bochurim learning in 770 who have immersed themselves with great vigor in studying and reviewing their learning. Hundreds of Yeshiva students successfully completed the structured learning tracks, earning scholarships totaling tens of thousands of dollars.
After four successful years of the revolutionary “Yissachar and Zevulun” project by the Igud Talmidei Hak’vutza, which has yielded remarkable results in the field and provided the Talmidim of 770 with the resources to dedicate their full energy and time to serious and structured study throughout the year, the project has joyfully and enthusiastically launched yet another year. This year has seen a record-breaking registration with 350 excited participants, Bochurim who are set to maximize the coming year to its fullest potential.
This year also introduced an innovative and special new track: the study of Hilchos Shabbos and Yom Tov, wherein the participants delve into a curated selection of the essential Halachos of Shabbos and all the Yomim Tovim, all drawn exclusively from the Shulchan Aruch of the Alter Rebbe.
This new track joins the four existing study tracks:
– The study of the entire Hemshach 5666.
– The study of the Likutei Sichos on Geulah and Moshiach, divided into topics.
– The study of all of Chelek Aleph in the Shulchan Aruch Harav.
– The study of Masechtos Kesuvos and Moed Katan in their entirety.
Hundreds of Talmidim have joined these learning tracks, dedicating their time and energy with diligence and perseverance.
At the end of Cheshvan, a test was administered on the material covered over the past month. Due to the overwhelming number of participants, the testing venue was divided into two separate locations to accommodate the hundreds of Talmidim who arrived to take the test. The atmosphere of seriousness during the test clearly reflected the importance the project holds in the daily routine of the Bochurim, and it was evident that their efforts brought tremendous nachas to the Rebbe.
Following the review and grading of the tests, a scholarship distribution event took place yesterday at 770, where $40,000 was distributed in cash!
The scholarship distribution was marked by great excitement, which was palpably felt in the main Zal of 770. Hundreds of Talmidim gathered in the evening to the front of 770 to receive their monthly stipend, presented with joy and deep appreciation by the Rabbanim of the Igud Talmidei Hak’vutza.
A tremendous debt of gratitude is extended to the generous donors, the “Zevulunim,” who make this project possible in a manner befitting its importance.
The objective of the project is clear: to enable every Bochur to dedicate his utmost time and energy to learning during the Kollel year and to make the most of his time at the central Yeshivas Tomchei Temimi – 770!
