
The Innovia Foundation has announced recipients for its 2025-26 scholarship programs.
The organization announced in a Monday news release it awarded 170 scholarships totaling more than $436,000 to students throughout eastern Washington and northern Idaho. The Innovia foundation manages more than 30 scholarship programs on behalf of donors who have established funds to aid students.
Several scholarship recipients were from the Palouse:
Ashley Uhrig, of Moscow, was awarded a $2,000 Margaret F. Galbraith scholarship to attend the University of Idaho.
Ava Swan, of Colfax, was awarded a $1,250 Melvin A. and Josephine L. Ripley scholarship to attend Yakima Valley Community College.
Cecelia Hellman, of Pullman, was awarded a $3,800 Lucille I. Hudon scholarship to attend the University of Washington.
Dillon Gassenberg, of Colfax, was awarded a $3,800 Lucille I. Hudson scholarship, a $1,800 Mark and Kay Burkett scholarship, and a $1,250 Melvin A. And Josephine L. Ripley scholarship to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Grace Jones, of Colfax, was awarded a $2,500 Francis and Sabina Schreider scholarship to attend the University of Hawaii.
James McAnally, of Colfax, was awarded a $2,250 Clarence Hines scholarship to attend Princeton University.
Katherine Hergert, of St. John, was awarded a $1,134 Annie Maria Hitchings scholarship to attend Carroll College.
Marchele McNeilly, of Colfax, was awarded a $1,125 Clarence Hines scholarship to attend UI.
Olivia Shawgo, of Endicott, was awarded a $2,266 Annie Maria Hitchings scholarship to attend Washington State University.
Suni Ng, of Pullman, was awarded a $3,800 Lucille I. Hudson scholarship and a $2,000 Mark and Kay Burkett scholarship to attend UW.
Tanielle Knox, of Colfax, was awarded a $1,125 Clarence Hines scholarship to attend Eastern Washington University.
