The non-profit professional society for automation International Society of Automation (ISA), has announced the recipients of its 2025 scholarships. Thirty-three students from seven countries have been awarded US$66,000 to support tuition and research activities.
ISA scholarships are awarded to college or university students who demonstrate outstanding potential for long-range contribution to the fields of automation, instrumentation, systems, and control. The scholarship awards support tuition and related expenses and research activities, and initiatives. 
“On behalf of ISA, I am honored to congratulate this year’s exceptional scholarship recipients,” said Claire Fallon, ISA CEO and executive director. “Supporting the next generation of automation professionals is key to ISA’s mission of building a better world through automation. We are proud to be able to award so many talented students this year, and we look forward to seeing how they will shape and strengthen our field in the future.”  
Recipients of ISA Scholarships in 2025 – Named Endowment Category include Shruti Kokil, a student at MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women in Pune, Maharashtra, India, received the Bob & Mary Ives Endowment scholarship; Jeff Sauntry, enrolled at SANS Technology Institute in North Bethesda, Maryland, United States, was awarded the Daris & Gerald Wilbanks Endowment scholarship; Mohamadali Tofigh, a student at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, received the Huston Endowment scholarship; and Praise Odewale, from the Federal University of Technology Akure in Akure, Ondo, Nigeria, was also awarded the Huston Endowment scholarship.
The recipients of ISA Scholarships in 2025 – General Education Fund include Aditi Mandar Kulkarni, studying at MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women in Pune, Maharashtra, India, who received a scholarship from the ISA General Education Fund; Aditya Santosh Joshi, a student at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, was awarded support through the General Education Fund; Aditya Anil Sasane, from Vivekanand Education Society’s Polytechnic in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, received a scholarship under the same fund; Amitoj Kaur Panesar, also from MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women in Pune, Maharashtra, India, was named a recipient; and Bipin Amarbahadur Yadav, attending Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, received General Education Fund support.
It also covered Drushti J. Nagarkar, a student at Vivekanand Education Society’s Polytechnic in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, who was awarded a scholarship; Gabriel Ogungbure, studying at Sheffield Hallam University in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom, was named a recipient; Gabriella Griffiths, from The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, received a scholarship from the fund; Grace Amell, a student at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, United States, was awarded a scholarship; Hameed Abdul-Rashid, attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Illinois, United States, received scholarship funding; Igor Kwas, enrolled jointly at Munster Technological University and University College Cork in Cork, Munster, Ireland, was named a recipient; and Jay Pragnesh Mehta, studying at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, received funding from the General Education Fund.
The ISA also awarded Kunal Kothari, also from the Institute of Technology, Nirma University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, a scholarship; Manikandan Pandiyan, a student at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States, received ISA scholarship support; Matthew Lockett, studying at The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, was named a recipient; Mayank Soni, from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Academy of Engineering in Pune, Maharashtra, India, was awarded a scholarship; Meegan Heerlyn, enrolled at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States, received support through the fund; Muhammad Esmat, a student at The University of British Columbia in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, was named a recipient; Om Deepak Mandhane, from Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, received a scholarship; and Prachiti Mujumdar, studying at MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women in Pune, Maharashtra, India, was awarded support.
It also covered Prajyot Prashant Patil, a student at Ganpat University’s Institute of Technology in Mehsana, Gujarat, India, received a scholarship; Prapti Bordoloi, attending the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, was named a recipient; Rohit Kiran Gavali, studying at Parsons School of Design in New York, New York, United States, received scholarship funding; Sakshi Sachin Kulkarni, from MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women in Pune, Maharashtra, India, received ISA scholarship support; and Sara Sachin Patil, also from MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women in Pune, Maharashtra, India, was awarded a scholarship.
Additionally, Somya Gupta, a student at Silver Oak University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, was named a recipient; Syed Arfan Sahil, studying at Reva University in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, received scholarship support; Tanishka Manoj Dixit, from Savitribai Phule Pune University in Pune, Maharashtra, India, received an ISA scholarship; and Yusuf Umut Ciftci, attending the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, United States, was named a recipient of the General Education Fund.
