The Jefferson City School District planted a seed Monday it hopes will one day blossom.
Through the Seed-to-Service Scholarship, the district supported students who have expressed an interest in studying education and returning to the district to teach after graduation.
Anna Campbell is the education reporter for the Jefferson City News Tribune. She covers public and private K-12 and higher education in and around Jefferson City. She holds a Master of Arts in journalism from the University of Missouri, where she met her husband, Cody. She is a native of Moberly, Missouri, and she joined the News Tribune in 2021.
