CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The Jefferson-Madison Regional Library and the Albemarle-Charlottesville NAACP are teaming up to help students.
This is a chance for students to consider professional library work as a career. Applications are now open for a paid library internship slot and for a chance at a scholarship.
“So, the more time they spend in the library, and they get to work with library staff and get to use all the library’s materials and meet with the public… The more they will understand what a vital role the public library plays in America today,” said JMRL Library Director David Plunkett.
