The 2024 J. Robert Oppenheimer Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Los Alamos High
School senior Rebecca Li. Separately funded scholarships were awarded to John Cawkwell of
Los Alamos High School and Joaquin Caraveo of Pojoaque Valley High School in memory of
Nicholas C. Metropolis, to Shiv Antar Khalsa of Los Alamos High School in memory of Nancy Laubach and J. Arthur Freed, to Daniel Kim of Los Alamos High School in memory of Rosalie Heller, to Araya Vigil of Pojoaque Valley High School funded by the Delle Foundation in memory of Satch Cowan, to Aliana Cornflower Ortiz of Santa Fe Indian School in memory of Terry Hawkins, to Anelia Holterman of Española High School in honor of Mary Lou and Michael Williams, to Chloe Li of Los Alamos High School and Natalia Marquez of Santa Fe High School funded by the New Mexico Consortium, to Deeanna Foster of Los Alamos High School in memory of Richard Swenson, to Emma Frost of Los Alamos High School by the LAHS Class of 1970, and scholarships funded by the JROMC to Maximus Posada of Los Alamos High School, Ayanna Martinez of Capital High School, Merrick Word- Brown of Santa Fe High School, and Dalian Lopez and Matteo Nagle both of Pojoaque Valley High School.
