WILTON – Local charity Kelly’s Angels has announced it is accepting applications from high school seniors for its expanding college scholarship program, which now includes 14 Capital Region institutions and $52,000 in scholarships. The Hudson Falls district has been added to the program this year.
“These scholarships honor the legacy of my late wife Kelly, who was a teacher,” explained Mark Mulholland, founder and president of Kelly’s Angels. “Kelly loved helping students reach their full potential. These scholarships aim to encourage students who have faced adversity at a young age to keep preserving and moving forward.”
Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded at each of the 14 districts which include Whitehall, Hudson Falls and Hoosic Valley.
