LOCK HAVEN — The Keystone Central Foundation is proud to announce that more than $60,000 in scholarships have been awarded this year to graduating seniors from Central Mountain High School and Bucktail High School. These scholarships reflect the Foundation’s commitment to supporting student success, post-secondary education, and the future of our community.
This year was particularly remarkable, as the Foundation welcomed four new scholarships funded by generous community members:
— The Mike Flanagan Memorial Scholarship honoring community leadership
— The Kristen M. Hayes Memorial Scholarship to celebrate her lifelong friendships
— The Ron Dailey Memorial Scholarship for commitment to helping others
— The Jess Long Scholarship created in memory of the former BEN teacher who positively impacted his students.
These newly established funds join a growing list of community-supported awards that provide meaningful financial assistance to students pursuing college, technical school, military service or other career pathways.
“We are incredibly grateful to our donors, local families and businesses who make these scholarships possible,” said Melissa Bottorf, Executive Director of the Keystone Central Foundation.
“Their generosity is opening doors for students and empowering them to reach their full potential.”
The Keystone Central Foundation continues to foster a culture of educational excellence and community involvement across the Keystone Central School District.
