The John Kimball, Jr. Memorial Trust Scholarship Program
The applications deadline for the 2024 John Kimball, Jr. Memorial Trust scholarships is April 15, 2024.
Applications are being accepted online only from Feb. 23 to April 15. Please apply by filling out this online Google form. (Paper applications already sent and received will be considered on an equal basis with online applications.)
Applications are accepted from anyone interested in studying history who has a substantial connection with the Masconomet School District, Topsfield, Boxford or Middleton. The purpose of the Trust is to provide funding for books, tuition and other related educational and related expenses to graduate and undergraduate students, educators and others who have a passion for the study of history and related disciplines.
The Trust was set up by the family of the late Jack Kimball who was Topsfield Town Moderator for 28 years, a decorated Marine officer in World War II and Korea and partner in the Boston law firm of Hale and Dorr as well as a Topsfield Historical Society Director. The Topsfield Historical Society is pleased to administer this program in Jack’s memory.
