Grant season has now officially begun as applications are now open for the Community Endowment for the Arts Fund and several scholarships at New Braunfels Community Foundation.
Applications are open for nonprofit arts grants
Online applications are now open for the Community Endowment for the Arts grants. A minimum of $3,500 in grants will be awarded to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations grounded in the visual, creative or performing arts in New Braunfels and Comal County.
The Community Endowment for the Arts fund was established with NBCF in 2016. The long-term goal for establishing the Community Endowment for the Arts Fund was to create a resource that provides a recurring funding source for the arts. This will lead to a sustainable, culturally rich environment and arts education in the community, leading to overall healthy wellbeing in the community.
The Community Endowment for the Arts Grants will be awarded in December of 2025. The deadline to apply is noon, Dec. 9, 2025.
Some scholarship apps are open, more to come
A unique scholarship opportunity is open to married students attending Texas A & M University. Applications for the Meuth Family Texas A&M Scholarship are open now. While not required, special consideration will be given to students studying engineering.
Applications also are open now to students in the Bandera Electric Cooperative service area. Bandera Electric Cooperative and BEC Youth Tour scholarships are open to students who subscribe to students who subscribe to BEC services.
The Serve Outdoors Brian Hubertus Memorial Scholarship opens Nov. 3 and will award scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Comal County involved in community and volunteering.
Several more scholarships will open in January 2026.
