Two Winona-area high school graduates who are attending college this fall have each been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Kiwanis Minnesota-Dakota District Education Foundation. The recipients are Morgan Tye, who will be attending Bemidji State University, and Alicia Dionysius, who will be attending Mankato State University. The Winona Kiwanis Sunrisers Club hosted the students at its August 20 regular membership meeting to congratulate them on receiving their scholarship award. Charlie Havener, club president, presented certificates of recognition to the individual students.
