The Glendale Kiwanis Club announced the recipients of its 2025 scholarship awards, honoring eleven high school and college students for their academic achievement, leadership and dedication to community service.
The recipients, who each will receive a $2,000 scholarship, are: Christina Aguilan and Sophie Dadikozian from Clark Magnet High School; Armen Tovmasyan, Rebeca Pedroza Gonzalez and Sophia Valle from Hoover High School; Kate Enriquez, Mia Gonzalez, Diana Lopez and Volodya Margaryan from Glendale High School; and Taron Hakobyan and Lilit Yerkanyan from Glendale Community College.
“We are thrilled to support these talented and dedicated students as they take the next steps in their educational journeys,” said Amy Taylor, the club’s scholarship chair. “These scholarships reflect our commitment to fostering youth development and building a stronger community.”
The winners were selected through a process that evaluated academic performance, community involvement, responses to application questions, and a personal interview.
The recipients were honored at the annual Glendale Kiwanis Scholarship Luncheon on May 16 at the Glendale Elks Lodge. The event brought together family members, school officials and Kiwanis members to celebrate the students’ achievements.
