The Kiwanis Club of West Racine recently awarded six scholarships of $2,500 each to seniors at high schools located in Racine County east of Interstate 94. The club’s scholarship program assists students with post-secondary education expenses.
Carsen Naidl of St. Catherine’s High School received the George Camponeschi Scholarship. He plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and major in Business, Math and Computer Science.

Rebecca Richards of Walden III High School received the Ted Jacobson Scholarship. She plans to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and major in Animal Science.
Emily Kildahl of the REAL School received a scholarship from the club. She plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and major in Biomedical Engineering.
Amanda Cieczka of Horlick High School received a scholarship from the club. She plans to attend Carthage College and major in Nursing.
Cynthia Lopez of Case High School received a scholarship from the club. She plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and major in Business.
Nolan Chvilicek of the REAL School received a scholarship from the club. He plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and major in Computer Science-Data Analytics.
Funding for the 2024 Kiwanis Club of West Racine scholarship program was provided by the families of Rollie Krahn, Noel Newgord, George Camponeschi, the Ted Jacobson Foundation and donations raised by Kiwanis Club of West Racine members.
