Knox Ruritan Club met for its annual Ladies Night and scholarship presentation in June at Emanual Lutheran Church in North Georgetown. The club also commemorated their 51st anniversary.
Following a short business meeting, dinner was served followed by the scholarship awarded to Kaitlyn Bondoni. She is the granddaughter of Mel and Robin Albrecht. Bondoni will enter her junior year at the University of Mount Union where she is majoring in mechanical engineering. She graduated from West Branch High School. She was a member of the Barnyard Buddies 4-H Club since she was 8 years old and showed dairy cows at the Columbiana County. Bondoni will be showing at the fair this year in Open Class Dairy.
